Two persons have been feared in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State when rival cult groups clashed in a supremacy and territorial battle. Members of the Aiye and Eiye confraternities allegedly engaged in a fierce battle around Benson Bus Stop – a supposed stronghold of Eiye group, at about 12.00 pm on November 19.

The clash allegedly caused commotion as residents, traders and commuters scrambled for safety. Asides the two persons reportedly killed, the event which lasted several hours, resulted in many people sustaining varying degree of injuries.
