Troops Neutralize Terrorist in Adamawa, Capture One.
In a report made by the Nigerian Army through its Deputy Director Of Public Relations on Tuesday 12th February, troops reportedly repelled members of the Boko Haram sect in Madagali town in Adamawa state. Reports claim that several insurgents were neutralized, while ammunition was recovered, as the terrorists sought to attack a military formation in the area. According to him, the terrorist struggled with stiff resistant from the soldiers, who wielded massive firepower, causing grave injuries and destruction to the terrorists and their equipment.
The insurgents allegedly scampered for their lives, while the army neutralized most, capturing one alive. The ammunition recovered are reportedly five AK-47 rifles, four magazines, a grenade, special ammunition, two cell phones and a video camera. Meanwhile, the Acting General Officer of the Operation Lafiya Dole has commended the troops for their doggedness amidst sympathizing with families of the fallen heroes.
