Kaduna Streets Empty As Security Operatives Enforce Curfew
Major streets in Kaduna and its environs were deserted today as security operatives enforced the 24-hour-curfew imposed by the government. From Sabon-Tasha, in the southern part of the state, to Kawo in the northern part, the streets were devoid of both vehicular or human traffic.
In spite of the curfew, there were still alleged killings in some parts. Burnt tyres littered some of the streets from bonfires lit during the Sunday unrest.
