The Kaduna State government says 32 persons have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the violence which engulfed the state. The government disclosed this in a statement after a meeting of a select committee of the State Security Council presided over by Governor Nasir el-Rufai on Saturday.
“The police reported that 32 persons have been arrested since yesterday for involvement in the disturbances. These persons will be investigated and prosecuted,” said the statement signed by the governor’s media aide.
