Fleeing Adamawa Residents Return Home after Failed Terrorist Attack
Prior to the Monday Boko Haram attempted attack in Adamawa state, residents of Madagali and Michika LGA have since began returning back to their homes, after fleeing to safety due to sporadic shootings launched by the Terrorists in their town. The insurgents had been reportedly contained by security guards around Kirchinga hills, near Sambisa Forest, the state’s Commissioner of Information and Strategy reported.
Further, the Commissioner commended security operatives and residents of the state for their doggedness and dedication in fighting the insurgents, continuing that the attempt by the sect to resume its deadly activities in the state would not succeed. A resident of Michika community, Abdulrahman Mutawalli, speaking who to NAN on the uproar in the town had reported that activities had come back to normalcy in the area. that activities were returning to normal in the area.
