Five persons have been feared killed in a fresh attack in Adamawa State.  The victims are indigenes of Bali village in Demsa Local Government Area of the state.

According to Othman Abubakar, Spokesman of the Adamawa Police Command, suspected ethnic militia ambushed the travellers along Numan-Kpasham road to Taraba State. Four other victims who survived the attack with injuries have been taken to a hospital.

Abubakar called for calm, and pleaded against any form of reprisal attacks.
