
Delta Communal Clash: Nine killed, Many Injured
The long-standing boundary dispute between Aladja and Ogbe-Ijoh communities in Udu and Warri South West Local Government Areas of Delta State has turned violent as men in military uniforms allegedly killed at least seven persons in Aladja.
Also, it was alleged that bandits suspected to be Ogbe-Ijoh youths also killed two persons, bringing the total number of persons killed to nine, while over 25 persons from both communities were critically injured during the clash. Although it was not clear what led to the renewed clash, leaders from both communities trade blames over counter-invasion by both communities.
